Peaks at Sunset holds such a special place in my heart, as it is the largest oil painting I have done yet. Furthermore, it was a pivotal moment in my art journey because it pushed me to follow my creative instinct. With each layer of this piece, I led with my brush and without hesitation. As a result, I found a signature technique for painting mountains (you'll see this in some of my other pieces in the Vibrant Skies collection) and a beautifully crafted reminder of what can happen when you trust the process- and yourself!
