Summer Sweet was inspired by the nostalgia of enjoying a popsicle in the middle of summertime. Using vibrant shades, I painted these popsicles melting (as they inevitably do in the summer heat) and joining together to create a beautiful blend of sunset shades. This painting instantly takes me back to spending all day outside, drinking from the water hose and having no worries- other than eating your popsicle before it melts!
