Waves at Sunset is near and dear to my heart, being my very first landscape I ever painted. Inspired by a trip to the ocean I had taken soon before I created this piece, it reminds me of the breathtaking view of the sun moving toward the horizon. Seeing the sun set is beautiful anywhere, but I have to say watching it reflect off of the waves is a personal favorite.
